Everyone asked for "something different" with our Meet n Greets; so, on Saturday, January 21st at 5 pm we will be meeting at Splinter's Axe House at 590 Carl Vinson Parkwy Suite 700 here in Warner Robins. They have plenty of Jeep parking, food, a nice bar, clean bathrooms, a pool table...and oh yeah, axe throwing! Because it is a Saturday night, if you plan to throw axes, they do recommend that you reserve an axe throwing lane in advance. However, they will take "walk-ins" if the lanes are available. The cost is $25 per person per hour. They will be offering discounts to us; so, be sure to tell them you are with WRJC. They do have a few safety requirements: (1) you must wear close toed shoes to enter the building, (2) you must obey instructions from the safety coach on staff and (3) no one under 18 is allowed in the building without adult supervision. Please understand that this is a new local business, and this is a new venture for our club. Let's be sure to put our best foot forward.
