Hello Jeep Family!
We wanted to reach out to you amid the current situation in our community. Due to the virus we are all trying to avoid, there have been many closings and cancellations of events locally, statewide, and nationwide.
At this time, this is what we know:
1. The Cherry Blossom Parade has been cancelled.
2. SFWDA has cancelled their upcoming events.
3. Windrock Park has closed their General Store and Campground until Friday, April 17, but the park remains open so people can enjoy the trails.
4. Black Mountain in Kentucky has closed their park.
5. Extreme Terrain has announced they will not be hosting Topless Day this year due to setbacks with their company. They stated that they are aware that individual groups may host Topless Day, but they will not be sending out host packets or doing any fundraising during the event.
WRJC has cancelled the Topless Day committee meeting this week and the council meeting for this week as well. We are looking at alternate options for having our meeting at the beginning of April (stay tuned). As of right now, we are not cancelling Topless Day. We will continue to plan the event and hope things go back to normal before May 16.
Our April ride is scheduled for the 24-25 at Windrock. We will monitor their announcements and let you know if our ride will be cancelled. Please stay tuned to our Facebook page and forum for updates on our club's upcoming events. We will do what we can to keep everyone informed.
Take care during this time! We will get through this and be together again soon! Much love!
