Need Advice on Lift Kit
« on: November 19, 2019, 09:06:16 am »
I need some help deciding on a lift kit for my 2012 Jeep JK 2dr...want to do it right the first time and I plan on keeping my Jeep for the long term. I have done lots of research on-line and want to know if I am on the right path. I am contemplating a JKS JSpec 2.5 inch suspension lift. I currently have 33" Nitto Tera Grapplers on it now but eventually plan on 35" tires in the future. I drive a company car for work but this will be my only other vehicle and need good handling on the highway but a capable rig for the trails. Below are the components I am eyeballing to install:

1) JKS Manufacturing JSPEC™ 2.5" Suspension System for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler
https://www.quadratec.com/products/16156_0430.htm

2) JKS Manufacturing JKS1620 J-Link Front Lower Fixed Length Control Arms for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK https://www.quadratec.com/products/16156_0482_07.htm

3) JKS Manufacturing 2943 Adjustable End Links for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK with 0-6" Lift
https://www.quadratec.com/products/16260_1001.htm

4) JKS Manufacturing OGS159 Rear Adjustable Trackbar for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK with 0-6" Lift
https://www.quadratec.com/products/16007_004_07.htm

5) JKS Manufacturing OGS169 Rear Trackbar Brace for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
https://www.quadratec.com/products/16007_005_07.htm

6) JKS Manufacturing JKS8150 Exhaust Extension Kit for 12-18 Jeep Wrangler JK
https://www.quadratec.com/products/16156_1020_14.htm

Can anyone help me and let me know if I am on the right path? The total cost for all of the above is about $1,700. I may be able to get a forum discount so that figure might come down a little. I'm not afraid to spend the money if the above will be worth it.
Thanks

Before you order anything talk to Walt @ KD Off-Road.  He put 3.5 Superlift kits w/Fox shocks on both my Jeeps for not much more then your fixing to pay.  He is a club sponsor and offers club member discounts.

I don't know of anyone in the club who uses JKS, But half of us are running metal cloak 3.5in game changers. It's a pretty phenomenal kit.

We put a 3.5” Super Lift with Fox shocks from Walt on our 2011 JK and love it.  Highly recommend you talk to Walter Coston before you buy anything.
