**VOLUNTEERS NEEDED**

WRJC has been invited to the air show this year and we are so excited!  There will be lots to do and we will need members' participation in this event.  We will move our Jeeps onto the base Friday evening before the show.  On Saturday and Sunday, we will have our tent set up and need to be present to monitor our exhibit and mingle with the crowd.  Please sign up below if you can volunteer your time!

Annette, looking at possibly Sunday.  We will let everyone know soon.  However, just so everyone knows, we are having to get approved through the safety department before we can actually do this next weekend.  They will let us know for sure when they get the approval.

I know I didn’t go to the last meeting but just a reminder that we can leave the jK over the weekend, didn’t see my name on the list. If there are too many it’s cool. Just let me know either way Perez!

It has been confirmed with the AFB that we will NOT be allowed to stack our Jeeps at the air show.  So, the tentative plans for Sunday have been cancelled.

LOGISTICS FOR AIR SHOW

For those of us leaving our Jeeps on base for the weekend:  We are meeting at Wal-Mart on Booth Rd at 6 pm Friday, September 27.  We will convoy into the base at the Green St entrance.  There, we will receive our badges to enter the base and park our Jeeps.  If you cannot be at Wal-Mart at the designated time and need to meet us at the base, text or call me at 478-338-0052 (Sam) and I can tell you where we are set up.  We need to be set up and off the base by 730. 

If you are depending on others to get your Jeep to and/or from the event, please make those arrangements now.  We do not want to have Jeeps stranded on base after the show is over Sunday. 

There are certain guidelines everyone will adhere to when entering the base for the event.  Please review the list of Dos and Don'ts in the link provided here so you will be prepared to pass through security.  (For those of us working the event, we will provide a cooler of drinks that will be pre-approved with the base.)
