Parking Brake Adjustment?

Could someone walk me through the process of adjusting the parking brake on a TJ? I have the cable as tight as it will go, but the brake barely holds. Isn't there also an adjustment in the brake shoes?

Get with Robert McEwen. He doesn't get on here much because he only uses his phone and isn't really technologically inclined.

Maybe the self adjusting screw on the drums is seized and/or your shoes are toast... Both are fairly common. Start by pulling the drums off and have a quick look. If the drums slide on and off with no resistance, they aren't adjusted properly. Maybe even click the parking brake pedal halfway down and see if the drums still come off just to be sure.
