ISO JK Rubicon or Similar Takeoff Wheels/Tires
« on: December 31, 2017, 07:15:26 PM »
I'm looking for a set of wheels/tires to go on my Jeep. I'd like to find a set of JK Rubicon takeoffs with the stock BFG tires, but I'm open to anything similar.

Rob,
I bought my wife a new Rubicon this past November and plan on doing a lift, wheels, and tires in March.  Will let you know when done to see if you’re still interested.

These should be super easy to find on Craigslist and Jeep Facebook group pages.

Thanks, James. Definitely let me know when you're ready.

You would think that they'd be easy to find on CL and FB, but that has not been the case. I've seen a few but they're already sold and the seller hasn't removed the listing, or the seller doesn't respond to inquiries...

Tony hooked me up with his Rubicon Hard Rock wheels and tires. They look great on the TJ - can't wait to try them out!

I also upgraded to an adjustable front tack bar. Now the front axle is no longer offset 1.5" to the left. It made a surprising improvement to the handling. That fixed the problem of the Jeep wandering all over the road and resisting steering corrections.
