What Mark said. We have a long standing relationship with the owners of the park. We are on the honor system with them.

Regarding battery tie downs... hard mount/factory please. Ratchet straps can come loose, and I have seen a rig catch fire due to sketchy battery tie down.

Tow straps WITHOUT metal hooks are pretty much a requirement. Fire extinguisher also. Most importantly.... trail snacks and water. A hangry driver can become an unsafe driver on the rocks.

Saw this on their website the other day and was curious how serious they are with these inspections... If I have a hi-lift jack and my buddy doesn't, will he fail inspection? Also, are ratchet straps allowed on the battery or does it need to be a hard mount? Same with the tow straps... If I have a tow strap, tree saver, and winch, does my buddy need them as well?

Vehicle Requirements
Vehicles must pass inspection to verify the following.

All Vehicles

1.  Functional seatbelts for all occupants.  (Must be worn at all times.)
2.  Hardtop or functional roll bar that covers all occupants.
3.  Battery tie down.  No bungee cords.
4.  Tow hooks, d-rings, or other point of attachment for recovery.
5.  Spare tire and jack
6.  Functioning taillights.
7.  Mufflers with operating spark arrestors.
8.  Tow strap and tree saver.
9.  Fully functional brakes.
10. Charged fire extinguisher.

The website is extremely outdated and no one from the park will be there.  Follow the rules of the club - WRJC.

Mark your Calendars! The 7th Anniversary ride is right around the corner. June 1-3 at Morris Mountain in Alabama. Last year we had a great turn out for this event and hope to have lots more this year. It will be 3 wonderful days of wheeling and camping. Every year the club strives to make this event better and to bring beginners into the sport. So, rather this is your first time wheeling or you have been doing it for years there are trails for you.
-this ride is open to all jeepers
-prizes will be raffled off. There will be plenty of opportunities to purchase raffle tickets.
-you can win prizes even if you don't make the ride. You must be present for all large ticket items.

Park info:
There are showers and bathrooms but they are not fancy. We will try to make sure they are clean. The campground does have electric for those who wish to bring campers. There are also hotels close by but camping is half the fun. Morris mountain is a great park and has something for everyone.

[/Cost: $30 per vehicle for the weekend.(no charge for passengers or camping.$20 for singe day. Admission will also get you 10 raffle tickets for the prizes drawing. Remember everyone the park is cash only. We will be collecting money at sign in. Make sure you find the sign in book when you get to the park.
