I don't know of any specific laws in GA about rolling without a windshield. Only one at the top of my mind regards cracking/spider webbing of the windshield. I will check more thoroughly when I go back to work tomorrow.

There is nothing I found in the code book about operating without a windshield specifically. OCGA 40-8 deals with equipment. 40-8-7 is the unsafe vehicle code. It is a catch all, an overzealous cop could try to write this for no windshield. 40-8-73 deals specifically with windshields and wipers. It doesn't say the windshield has to be up or present.

Really appreciate the follow up on this.  Sounds like overall I'd be fine with having it down so now it is just a matter of if I want to deal with taking it down and risk breaking the seal.  Then again, it is a Jeep and Jeeps are made to get wet and dirty lol

I can see that happening.  I don't have CB yet and by yet I mean in the next couple of days or so.  I'm getting ready to purchase one and get a good recovery kit together.
