If no one has already volunteered or if there has been a couple then I'd like to put my name in the hat for consideration. I believe it should be headed by a two person team or there should at least be a back up person in charge in case the coordinator is unavailable or worst case they are affected by the weather emergency. Just a thought

Very cool everyone,
Excited to say a date has been set for a meeting to get the ball rolling on this. Trout had a very good idea mentioning a winch and recovery demonstration to get people up to speed on the correct ways on handling our gear. Personally I believe I could gain a lot of useful information since the winch is new on our rig. We wouldn't mind hosting this at our house in the back yard. I see no reason we cant get a few rigs back there. When the tornado's hit Booth road I was already wishing we could help then. Really looking forward to helping the community during hard times. I wanted to see about getting a police scanner and weather alert installed in our rig too.

Armando, Bull and Greg are ready. We just got the call to roll out to the back 40 and drag these 2 teenage love birds out of their favorite make out spot. Recovery team 1 - huge mud hole 0.

I like the idea of training and how/where to attach on typical cars, etc

Not just ice is considered bad weather. I am still working at the Growler tomorrow day unless told otherwise. I did put the Juggernauts cloths back on with the storms that will hit tomorrow. Recovery bag is good and added some key tools. I would still like to continue with plans to get this ball rolling on this but due to bad timing and club elections I know it is pretty hectic at the moment. As long as I am not at work I am very interested in helping people tomorrow if need be. I am having an issue on taptalk so feel free to text me directly. I dont really like the MMS message cause it can get annoying however in a bad situation I believe its good to keep people posted 24/7. Please everyone be safe and take care. I heard it is going to get pretty rough " So they say".
Or yall can come hang out with me at the Growler. Our keg cooler is pretty safe for bad weather. Js

Since Bibb County was so nice to let us have the day off, I will be at home. I know if the weather gets too bad, and people need a little winchin....just call and I will be there!

In order to make anything official we have to go through a ridiculously long and costly process for each person involved.  We where actually asked to stay off the roads as much as possible to allow emergency crews and task forces to work.
