Snow day recovery team
« on: January 06, 2017, 10:46:13 AM »
So I think most of know that Warner Robins /Macon  is going to have as Armondo called it "Snowmageddon 2017" Saturday.

Since we all have jeeps and recovery gear it's fun to play rescue wranger and pull all the folks that don't have Jeeps or don't know how to drive out from the ditches and off curbs.

I will be free all day just tending and stoking the fireplace and taking care of honeydoos I will have my CB on 19 and 16 for the entire day and have my cellphone 21 71 1232
I live near the freeway and Watson Blvd by the Pilot gas station.
I'm not driving to Bonaire to pull someone off a curb but I know we have folks over in that area the more we have the better,

If others would like to help out tomorrow post up your info and the area you live and turn on notifications for this thread so u can follow it.

If anyone has experience with this previously and knows how to be put on a recovery call list or something similar that would be cool too.

Let's make a Rescue Wranglers Recovery Team.

Good call TJ Todd - I'm heading to Augusta in the morning so I may run up on someone needing a pull. I should have a better chance seeing the white stuff there.
2010 JK Rubicon still in progress and always will I'm guessing

Contact the local PD and hospitals and offer assistance through them if you want. It's a bummer to not see more interest here. I think it was 2014 when we did this with great success. We helped got doctors and nurses to and from the hospital. It was awesome. Maybe someone can reach out to Medcenter Macon and WR. I am still laid up from surgery so sadly I am not...

If we do see snow I'll go help but I seriously doubt it.

I was just thinking about this yesterday at work. I have some friends who have a Jeep club around Tennessee and they are working with the police officers. Count me in too. I know there is no threat currently but any time this happens we would love to help now that we have a wench and recovery gear.

Did anything happen in WR or Macon? In Griffin all I got was a thin layer of ice on everything. The sun will melt it all very soon now.

Just saw this, but I'd be down if it actually snowed and I didn't have to work that day
